Prague Galleries is a practical guide for people who want to see art in Prague, and for people who want to take some home.

Why this guide

Visitors who want to buy art in Prague tend to ask the same questions. Where should I look? Is this price normal? Can I carry a painting on the plane? What needs a permit? The answers are scattered across gallery websites, tourist portals and forum threads. This site puts them in one place.

How we choose

• Only places that are open and verifiable. Every gallery has a working website or a public listing with an address. If we can't confirm a gallery still operates, it isn't listed.
• The same treatment for everyone. Each entry gets the same facts: address, area, what is sold, and a link to the gallery's own site. Galleries are listed north to south within each district, not ranked.
• No paid placements. No gallery has paid to appear, and none can. There are no affiliate links on this site.
• Facts come from the source. Opening hours, prices and addresses are taken from the galleries' and museums' own pages on the date shown at the foot of each page. Where a gallery doesn't publish something, we say so rather than guess.

How it is written

The pages are written with the help of AI tools. Every address, opening time and price is checked against the gallery's or museum's own website, and each page shows the date of that check.
